Thimbleweed Park is an adventure game with a pixel art style perfect for cross stitch. Around the time of its spring 2017 launch, I stitched an homage to its five main characters as a gift for one of the game’s creators, Ron Gilbert. This game has a huge cast of creative characters, and while I was working on the original cross stitch I got the idea to make an afghan featuring all of them. As I finished each character, I posted a picture below along with the chart (free to download for personal use).

Altogether there are 48 characters plus the Thimbleweed Park road sign, stitched over one on 18-count Anne Cloth. You can see pics of the finished afghan here. In May 2018 I auctioned it off for charity which resulted in a $1,787 donation to the Video Game History Foundation. Wow!
